For over 25 years, the Carlton Ambassador has been a renowned name in The Hague for both business and leisure guests. The hotel offers 88 luxury rooms, two stylish function rooms for various events, and Restaurant Sophia with a spacious, sunny terrace.

Housed in a striking historic building on the corner of Sophialaan and Zeestraat, the hotel is set in the heart of the stately Embassy District, close to the city centre, the lively Zeeheldenkwartier and just 15 minutes from Scheveningen.

Restaurant Sophia is loved by hotel guests and locals alike — whether it’s for a coffee with homemade Madeleines, a business lunch, cocktails on the terrace or a dinner with the popular and culinary Menu Puur.
