Sophia's lounge is also a perfect location to host a drink or event for family & friends, or work! Let us mix the best cocktails or enjoy a beautiful glass of wine.

Sophia's luxury high tea
Indulge in our beloved high tea
Feel as royal as Princess Sophie of Orange-Nassau and enjoy a luxurious High Tea in the heart of The Hague. Our passionate chef and his team carefully prepare a selection of classic sandwiches, homemade scones with jam and clotted cream, exquisite sweets and small seasonal amuse-bouches. Of course, all of this is accompanied by unlimited tea from the exclusive The Hague tea shop Betjeman & Barton.
You can enjoy the luxury High Tea daily by reservation between 12 PM and 3 PM.

The passion of our chef revolves around 'fresh cooking' in which there is no place for 'finicky things', or as he would call it 'what you see is what you get'. Our chef: "We make everything fresh from scratch: the jus de veau, sauces and creams. That's how we get the deep flavours we're looking for."
"Together with my kitchen team, we draw inspiration from the seasons and work with top-quality suppliers to create refined and harmonious flavour combinations. This philosophy is fully reflected in our new Menu de Selection. A menu where seasonal produce takes centre stage and where we play with texture, technique and elegance. From slowly cooked salmon and artisanal rillettes to French poulet label rouge or North Sea fish with beurre blanc. Each dish is prepared with care, craftsmanship and, above all, a lot of love."

Our chef brings his love for fresh ingredients together on your plate. His cooking style is international, with different ‘moods’ for the day—classic with a modern twist. Curious about his signature dishes? They are like small pieces of art, featuring fish or meat from the region, paired with seasonal vegetables and herbs.
The menu also includes delightful classics such as Caesar salad, poisson au beurre blanc, or the exquisite lobster bisque. You can also enjoy an appetizer with drinks or indulge in our renowned three-course menu “Pure”. Vegetarians are well taken care of with the most delicious vegetable dishes, such as a flavourful seasonal risotto. No matter your preference, the menu offers something delicious for everyone.
