Highlights van of The Hague
Cycling route
This route takes you along the highlights of The Hague.
Cycle past the Peace Palace, the Scheveningse Bosjes, and on to Meijendel Nature Park. In Wassenaar, you will ride through the protected village area surrounding the medieval village church. Through lush greenery, you will cycle back to the city center. The Binnenhof, the Hofvijver, and Noordeinde Palace — you will discover it all.

Cycling routes
Create a beautiful cycling route through the dunes! This route takes you past the dunes and beach of Kijkduin, Westduinpark and the Scheveningen boulevard. Start with a delicious cup of coffee or tea at Restaurant Sophia, after that follow the route into the dunes.

This walk to Scheveningen Beach combines natural beauty with cultural history. Through the Archipelbuurt, you will find yourself in the heart of the historic Scheveningse Bosjes, which dates all the way back to 1400! Next, you arrive in Scheveningen, a former fishing village rich in history. And, of course, the beach.

This shopping route takes you along the most stylish shopping streets of The Hague’s city centre: from the historic Passage, past the Royal Noordeinde, to the chic Denneweg. On a sunny day, relax on the sun-soaked terrace of Restaurant Sophia, where you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, tea, or a delicious lunch.

Follow this city walk in the footsteps of the Royal Family! The route leads you past palaces, historic monuments and beautiful palace gardens in The Hague’s city centre. At several spots, you will find ‘Golden Tiles’ embedded in the ground, be sure to read the inscriptions.
