From 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, indulge in an atmospheric dining experience with Deborah J. Carter, accompanied by live jazz music. Born in the U.S.A. and raised in Hawaii and Japan, Deborah has built an extraordinary international career, performing on stages and television broadcasts around the world. Now, you can experience this exceptional vocalist up close in an intimate setting.
During Jazz en Route, we offer a special three-course menu, including a welcome cocktail, for €69 per person. Our specially curated menu is crafted to complement the spirit of jazz, offering an unforgettable culinary experience enriched by the soulful sounds of Deborah J. Carter. During Jazz en Route The Hague 2025, the underground Rubens Bar at the Carlton Ambassador will be transformed into an intimate jazz club, inspired by the legendary Village Vanguard in New York.
From 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, enjoy live performances by saxophonist Floriaan Wempe and drummer Willie Jones III. Despite his young age, Floriaan has already collaborated with jazz greats such as Roy Hargrove and Peter Bernstein and regularly performs with the prestigious Jazz Orchestra of The Concertgebouw. On his new EP “What to Do”, he joined forces with one of the world’s leading drummers: Willie Jones III, who has previously collaborated with artists such as Erykah Badu, Herbie Hancock, and The RH Factor.
